Founded in 1850 under the name J.A Pattinson, then R.G Pattinson from 1936 and from 1973 South Cumbria Construction Ltd we are a family-run Windermere based construction company with over 175 years of experience delivering traditional craftsmanship, quality workmanship, and dependable project delivery across the Cumbria area.

We specialise in residential, heritage, and commercial building projects, combining time-honoured techniques with modern project management.

Based in Broad Street, Windermere since 1836, our offices and works provide the platform for our business which has allowed us to build a reputation for trust, integrity, 

and excellence in the local construction industry.
